Beachside Youth​

Beachside Youth’s vision is to see middle and high school students in our community come to know Jesus, grow in their relationship with Him, and become lifelong followers of Christ. Our mission is to create a place where every student feels known, loved, and welcomed while being challenged to grow deeper in God’s Word and build Christ centered community.

There are thousands of middle and high school students in the New Smyrna Beach area, with only a small handful of consistent youth ministries reaching them each week. These years are so important. Research has found that about two thirds of people who accept Jesus as their Savior make that decision before the age of 18. We believe we have an incredible opportunity to reach students with the Gospel during some of the most formative years of their lives.

In just five months, Beachside Youth has grown from around 12 students on a Sunday night to over 65 students gathering each week from 5 to 7 PM. Students come to hang out, play games, worship, open God’s Word, meet in small groups, eat good food, and build relationships with leaders and other students who genuinely care about them. Whether a student has grown up in church or has never opened a Bible before, we want them to know there is a place for them here.

The growth has been such a blessing, but our goal has never just been to have a big youth group. We want to see students know Jesus, understand His Word, invite their friends, serve the church, and become confident in living out their faith. We are so excited about what God is already doing through Beachside Youth, and we truly believe we are just getting started
